Actively Managed Portfolio

Combining themes of sustainability, greenium and impact investing

Requirements for potential companies

The idea for Orestes was created out of the need for positive future-oriented change primarily in the social and environmental spheres.  In doing so, Orestes differs from the vast majority of ESG/SDG-related investing based on the premise of reducing harm, and risk mitigation/reduction.  Thus, companies must adhere to the following requirements to be considered by Orestes.

Generate Financial Returns

Impact investing is not philanthropy

Generate Environmental and/or social performance

Measuring more than just financial impact

Use the UN SDGs as a roadmap

There are 17 goals with 169 targets that act as a blueprint to build a more sustainable, prosperous and healthy world.

Innovative SDG focused solutions

Must play a leading role in the underlying investments

Long-Term Horizon

Potential companies must provide their long-term view of the future

Active Ownership/Engagement

Active commitment to change, measurement of impact and transparency in reporting is important for accountability
